Hey girlies. I'm back from my trip to Arizona. The trip was pretty rough on me physically, I became severely dehydrated there and started to have problems with my kidneys, so I'm just now getting around to being online again. I've missed y'all.
My dad is doing fairly well. He's on a good bit of medicine, but I think the doctors finally have them all right, so he should feel better. I got to see 2 of my brothers, and I got to see my nephew for the first time. He is such a little cutie!!
I have to go to my specialist on Thursday. I've dropped from 117 pounds to 90 pounds, and I may have to have that feeding tube - which means another surgery - again. I'm scared. This is what I looked like around Christmas:
And this is what I looked like while in Arizona - and I've lost a couple of pounds since then:
The second one of me is with my cousin, Dana. She's a sweetheart, and that's her dog, Frankie.
We finally found a doctor in another part of the state who specializes in gastroparesis, and he can do the gastric pacemaker surgery, but we are still far from our goal to have it done. I'm out of ideas and don't know what else to do. I don't mean to complain, but I'm truly scared. Please send positive vibes if you can, and please help spread the word that we are still desperately in need of funding for this surgery.
I'll try not to bore y'all with my health problems, I was told everyone got sick of hearing about them, but I just had to share that because it's really got me down. I'm through with my chemotherapy from the colon cancer, so that is a blessing. They'll continue to do routine scans and bloodwork to make sure the cancer's not back.
*huge hugs*
